MORE ROCK STARS AT HARMONIX!
The gods descended on Harmonix last month, as two of our all-time leaderboard champions—Earth, Wind & CENTAUR and Die! In a Fire—made trips to our office to help play-test the forthcoming Rock Band 2. We were truly knocked out by the level of devotion and rock supremacy shown by both bands. E, W & C earned our kudos by testing the Band World Tour for a continuous nine-hour stretch, breaking only for Tibetan food. And Die! In a Fire amazed us by mastering two of the toughest songs we’ve ever unveiled: They five-starred “Ace of Spades” right off the bat, and made it through all seven minutes of “Panic Attack” without wiping out. And they did it all after driving five hours from New Jersey.
Since we’ve already profiled E, W & C on the site, we thought Die! In a Fire deserved a few moments of glory as well. We had a chat with band member Chris Brugnola soon after their visit here—Listen closely and some of their mojo may rub off on you.
