Caught in a Gaga Romance: Four-Pack of DLC from Lady Gaga

This week we’ve got something extra awesome for your ear holes.  That’s right, folks – Lady Gaga DLC.

Stefani Germanotta, as she was formerly known, learned piano by ear at the age of 4 and was writing her own songs and performing at open mic nights by age 14.  Heavily influenced by the '70s glam era, she got her stage name from a Queen song and her image from her love of fashion icons such as Donatella Versace.

Starting out as a songwriter for other pop acts, it took no time at all for her to release her first album as Lady Gaga, The Fame.  This album sold over 10 million copies and came jam packed with number one hits. It’s no mystery why so many people love her (even my metal head friends!) - her natural-born talent coupled with crazy outfits make it clear that she is no ordinary pop star.

Last December, a group of us from Harmonix scored some tickets to her show in Boston. We got dressed up in our most glamorous clothes and headed out for a night to remember.

HMX Night Out at Lady Gaga

This week we’re bringing you “Just Dance” and “Poker Face” from her debut album, and “Bad Romance” and “Monster” from her follow up EP, The Fame Monster.  Oh, and did you see Eric Cartman singing "Poker Face" on "South Park?"  Hilarious, right?  Well we’re giving you that version, too.  This should be an interesting one to sing.

Along with these tracks, we’ve also got two really fun tracks from British indie-rockers The Subways – “Oh Yeah” and “Rock & Roll Queen,” along with Mute Math’s “Control” and Three Doors Down’s “It’s Not My Time.”  Warm up your vocal cords because you’re going to be doing some serious singing this week.

These tracks will be available for purchase as “Lady Gaga Pack 01” as well as individual tracks on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 system, and as individual tracks only on Wii. Individual tracks are $1.99 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, $2.00 on Wii. The Pack is $6.99 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
