Mo' Metal, No Problem

We have a great mix of metal artists for you this week! Two more songs from Rock Band favorites Blue Öyster Cult, one of the biggest mainstays on the psych-rock circuit of the late '70s and early '80s, selling more than 14 million albums worldwide, make their way to Rock Band. The first track off their self-titled 1972 album, “Transmaniacon MC,” and one of the group’s most popular tracks, “Godzilla,” (from their fifth album released in 1977, Spectres).

We also have an awesome re-record from iconic heavy metal rockers Motörhead – “Killed by Death ’08,” re-recorded from 1984’s No Remorse. Space rockers Hawkwind will present “Master of the Universe” from 1971’s In Search of Space. Former Canadian alternative rock band I Mother Earth debut with “Levitate” from their 1993 debut Dig and classic Scottish rockers Nazareth will bring us “Hair of the Dog”, re-recorded from their classic 1974 single. And, what you’ve all been waiting for! “Bulls on Parade,” from Rage Against the Machine’s 1996 album, Evil Empire, will be available next week. So start rocking!

These tracks will be available for purchase as individual tracks for $1.99 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and $2 on the Wii. The tracks will be available January 26 on Xbox 360 and Wii and January 28 on PlayStation 3.
