Music & Youth Initiative Charity Auction – Bid on an Original Piece by Harmonix Artist John Dee

Whether or not you know his name, if you play Rock Band, you know John Dee’s artwork. He created some of the most iconic images in Rock Band and Rock Band 2, including the two-headed tiger you see here on and the intricate skulls and swirling octopi seen on Rock Band merchandise. Now you have a chance to own an original piece of John Dee artwork.

No stranger to charity auctions (he previously donated an exclusive hand-painted guitar case for a Penny Arcade auction), John Dee, with the support of Harmonix, has donated an original piece of artwork to be auctioned for the Music & Youth Initiative.

The Music & Youth Initiative is a foundation that funds an afterschool program for inner city youth. It provides the opportunity for children to take free music lessons in guitar, keys, drums and more. Rock Band is used in the program to teach kids rhythm and musical performance. They are currently running an online charity auction where you can bid on one-of-a-kind items.

Until June 4th, you can bid on Dee’s work at The winning bidder will receive a new, original piece signed by Dee and all the proceeds will support Music & Youth. This piece would be a great addition to any Rock Band fan’s collection.
