No Xbox 360 Release Today

The next RBN release on Xbox 360 will be on Thursday, January 5, 2012. See you then!

The Rock Band Network was developed upon Microsoft's XNA technology, and all RBN songs have 30-day exclusivity on the Xbox 360. However, select RBN 2.0 songs are submitted to the PS3 by Sony and Harmonix at the rate of 5 songs a week, as determined by factors such as popularity and community interest. To request future songs for the PS3, go to the forum thread here. We're always interested in hearing what songs our PS3 customers would enjoy!

Buy the Xbox version. You're wasting your time on the Wii version. No one cares for the Wii anymore. This system is soo 8 month ago. xD

Mavsfan: 1) Insufficient sales. PS3 songs sell about 1/2 as much as XBox, but Wii would sell about 1/10 as much. 2) Technical reasons. Wii songs are a different format than XBox and PS3, making conversion much more work.

how come rock band will not release anymore songs from RBN for the wii?
