The Rock Band Network was developed upon Microsoft's XNA technology, and all RBN songs have 30-day exclusivity on the Xbox 360. However, select RBN 2.0 songs are submitted to the PS3 by Sony and Harmonix at the rate of 5 songs a week, as determined by factors such as popularity and community interest. To request future songs for the PS3, go to the forum thread here. We're always interested in hearing what songs our PS3 customers would enjoy!

hey guys would it be possible to get some more lostprophets and audioslave up on the network for ps3 please :)

Hey HMX, can you guys release Slightly Stoopid's "Closer to the Sun" on the PS3. I have been waiting ages to play it. Xbox has it by the way.

I also Wanna see A three Band's On RBN from Massachusetts they are Shadows Fall,Killswitch Engage and Godsmack and then I also Wanna see a song that was Very Popular in 2004 and 2005 and the Song is Broken By Seether Featuring Amy lee of Evanescence. And I also wanna See a cover song Originally recorded by katy perry Remake'd by Deception of a Ghost the song is Called Firework.

Sales sucked on the Wii, there's your answer. PS3 EU has always been Wednesdays i thought? At least everytime i've read an article it's said Wednesdays. @Big_Dog, this is RBN. This isn't a place to request big name artist. This is a application used for smaller bands to put their music on rock band. Yes some big bands have choose to use it as well.. but not too many. You can request YOUR opinion of "Good metal", at..

@Dog: It isn’t a matter of “figuring out”, as if some law of science forbids all songs same day release. Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft all have their own schedules for updating their stores and they don’t care what Harmonix wants. If you mean the RBN stuff, Microsoft developed the means for ordinary users to sell stuff like charted songs through their store system, so 360 players get it all and get it first. Sony and Harmonix negotiated a deal whereby HMX posts five RBN songs a week, as noted in the footer on every RBN post. Harmonix used to post RBN songs on the Wii, but sales apparently didn’t justify the extra workload. So blame the economics of the situation if you must, but it doesn’t sound like complaining will help.

Why can't someone figure out how to make all songs come out on all consoles at the same time? Also i'm tired of bad metal getting put on here over and over again... Please put Parkway Drive, Lamb of God, Machine Head, Killswitch Engage, As They Sleep, August Burns Red, Chimaira, The Empire Shall Fall, Hatebreed, As Blood Runs Black, Unearth, etc.. But the one band i would love to have on rock band more than anything would be TOOL and i'm sure i'm not the only one that feels this way

Is Wii Ever Going to be getting anymore RBN? We're the only ones without RBN and I think we should at least get a small portion every week.

Why is DLC getting delayed for PS3 EU now? We're the only ones without 2112 and we have to wait until the 18th... what gives?
