Attention, Pearl Jam lovers on a budget: back in March we rolled out the landmark album Ten as full-album DLC. To make it more special we threw in three exclusive bonus tracks for fans that bought the Deluxe version of the Ten reissue.
After many pleas and requests, we’re glad to be making those tracks available as DLC: “Brother” goes back to Pearl Jam’s early days as an instrumental; a version with lyrics came out for the first time on the Ten reissue and quickly became a fan favorite. The other two songs, live versions of “Alive” and “State of Love and Trust,” come from the landmark, oft-bootlegged September 20, 1992 show at Seattle’s Magnuson Park. Known to fans as “Drop in the Park,” this was a free show that found Pearl Jam playing for 30,000 fans; a sure sign that superstardom had arrived.
