The catalog spans seven decades, starting with the 1950s. The '00s have the most songs with over 1,300, but there are tons of great songs from all the decades, including some classic Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison from the '50s. Take a peek at the number of songs in each decade in the chart below.

Decades in Rock Band.
In the beginning of Rock Band, we released about three songs a week. When the Rock Band Network started, we added three songs per day or more. Over the course of 3,000 songs, we've released an average of 15 songs per week! Some of the artists with the most songs in the game are Green Day, Foo Fighters, Queen, No Doubt, Pearl Jam, and Rock Band Network artist Amberian Dawn. But there are also over 760 artists with only one track in the game.
In October of 2010, we released Rock Band 3 and Pro DLC started. All of the songs on the Rock Band 3 disc and select DLC songs have Pro Guitar / Bass parts available. There are currently 203 Pro Guitar / Bass songs available with more released every week!
