Have you been sitting around, thinking to yourself, “For the love of God, why won’t Harmonix put more Skillet in the game?” If so, next week is just for you! YOU ARE WELCOME!
Next week, we’re adding six singles from artists ranging from inspirational alternative rock to positive alternative pop. We’ve got “Feel Good Drag,” which reached No. 1 on the Alternative Rock chart, from Florida alternative rockers Anberlin’s 2008 album New Surrender. Canadian punk rockers Hawk Nelson, CCM Magazine’s favorite artist of 2006, are offering up “Live Life Loud” from their 2009 album of the same name. Memphis natives and Grammy Award-nominated hard rockers Skillet contribute “Monster” from 2009’s Awake. Additionally, American pop rockers Superchick’s “Stand in the Rain” from their 2008 album Rock What You Got, “Meant to Live” from alternative rockers Switchfoot’s 2003 album The Beautiful Letdown, and “Fire It Up” from Canadian rockers Thousand Foot Krutch’s 2009 album, Welcome to the Masquerade will also be available.
Enjoy the tracks! It’s like the clouds parted and a ray of sunshine shone upon the office of Harmonix … and then these songs appeared, fully authored.
These tracks will be available as individual tracks on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii. All tracks will also be available for download in the family-friendly LEGO® Rock Band Music Store. Tracks are $1.99 each on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and $2 each on the Wii.
