guitar connectivity (ps3)

it doesnt stay connected! It will go for so long and then just stop. I read somewhere that it has to "charge". Operates off batteries so i don't really understand why it would have to, but it seems like there is some truth to that. yesterday i could only get it to work for about 5 minutes at a time, today it worked for 2 hours. anyone else have this problem?

Try changing the batteries first. Some PS3 people have said that their guitars are eating batteries.


Otherwise, the instructions were clear.

Plug in dongle.
Turn guitar switch to "on"
Press connectivity button
Press "PS" button which should light up.


If these steps don't work you may have a faulty guitar and have to contact EA to exchange it.

tried changing batteries, same result.
tried turning off wireless internet, no help

i was afraid so, didnt wanna have to send it back until i excausted all options, but i see no alternative.
