Can You Switch From Guitar To Bass?

How do you switch from guitar to bass. I have 2 characters made, one for singing, and one for lead guitar. I want to make one for bass, but I can't seem to do it. I can only create more lead guitar characters.

When you select a song you can choose between guitar and bass before selecting your difficulty.

I should have been more clear... I am trying to do this in solo tour mode. It lets me create more characters, but I cannot choose the bass... it gives me guitar by default.

Oh, solo tour... I don't think there is a solo tour for bass. If anyone knows anything about this please respond.

There is not a solo tour mode for bass. Only guitar, drums, and microphone

actually, I cannot get the bass in any mode? It just defaults to the guitar. The instruction book is very basic, and I haven't found anything online about it. The main ID I have has the picture of the guitar, how do I create another main ID?

The only way to play bass by yourself is to do it in practice mode

You can play bass in quickplay if I remember correctly
