I don't understand the package idea

Hi everyone!
I saw on the web that RockBand is now out but I have some questions about the oackage.

I heard about 2 package, the Special one and the game itself.

So the Special one come with one guitar a mic and a drum. What about me that only want the drum or only the guitar.

And the game itself, as I know, if you don't actually own Guitar Hero, you can't play with this one, right?

Also, could someone tell me if you can buy the drum seperately?

And finally, I saw on the Internet that this game comes out in canada only in the end of december... why? Should I buy it from th eUS and ship it in Canada or I can go in any stores and find one?

If you want to buy them seperately, you need to wait till Feb. 2008 I believe. Then you can buy the drums, mic, or guitar without buying the special package. Till then, its the special edition.

Who took the special one? Is it worth it?
I mean... I'm not the kind of guy that buy 100 + games like Guitar Hero for the fun. Everyone tell me that it's better than Guitar Hero and the songlist of GHIII is horrible.

Also, I want to know if the guitar from GH II is working with RockBand for the 360.
If so, I'll just buy the game and a wired GH II guitar and then buy the drums in 2008.

Yes, the xbox 360 GH2 guitar works in Rock Band.

As of right now, gamestop still has a date for seperate instruments as Feb 2008. So if you want the drums now, it's either buy the special edition, or find a set on ebay.

Just watch out as someone on ebay might be selling there "faulty" one's as to wait for their new ones in the mail.

I would say, if you can wait until feb, buy the guitar from GH2, and buy the game disc only, and play until feb and then get the drums.

You just wont be able to do Band World Tour mode until you have a second human and a second instrument.

Craigslist or eBay if you want individual instruments. It's the game or the bundle now.
