that's the error i get when i try to play DLC on rock band 2

here's the thing, my old ps3 just broke and i got a completely new one, so all i have to do is redownload my DLC from my PSN to the HDD and it should work, right? well, apparently not, because i've tried redownloading stuff multiple times, deleting files, and redownloading, and nothing seems to work

i've read other threads about people with this problem, but it's all xbox 360 stuff, and on google, there are solutions...if you have a 360, so the directions aren't compatible/similar to what you would do to fix on a ps3

anybody with a ps3 ever have this problem and solve it? or anybody with any console have any ideas? this is insanely annoying..

the other thing is, i paid for and downloaded the export key so that i could export the rock band 1 songs to rock band 2, but when i go to rock band 1 and click export, it still says "once you get the export key, the next time you click export here, it'll download automatically" and all that crap, but like i said, i've paid for the export key, i've downloaded it, and redownloaded it, and it should work automatically when i put rb1 in, but it's still f'ed up

i'm almost positive that all of this is due to me getting a new ps3 and something about the licensing and copyrights getting fouled up, but i have no idea how to fix it

I'm having a similar problem too.

I recently changed the user on my PS3 system, and now whenever I try and play songs downloaded by my other user, it comes up with the same message.

In order to get the DLC does your ps3 have to behooked to the net or can you download them t othumb stick fro myour computer?

Having the exact same issue on Xbox 360. DLC and imported RB1 tracks all come up with "Song data you were accessing has become unavailable". Worked fine the other day, but nothing tonight. Haven't changed anything with settings or changed HDDs or anything. This is rather frustrating as I can't play any DLC in RB2 (I have to switch to RB1 to play). :(

As far as I can tell, no. My brother just said he had it happen to him.

I figured out how to fix it, you just have to delete the Game Data, and redownload all the songs, in my case all 363 + 55 RB1 songs.

Is that forsure? And dose that mean going into the songs on the hard drive and erasing them? And the game saves too like in the Career and start over? Or can I just erase the Songs and Re-download them?

Be careful running out and trusting month old posts to fix your problem. The most common recent problem I've seen that causes a similar symptom is playing an unpatched version of the game with newer DLC. What song(s) are you having trouble with? Have you downloaded the latest game patches?

I have all the game patches, I', having the same problem with all downloaded content.
First install of the game. This is insanely ridiculous, especially since Harmonix did not adressed anyone yet. Sad.
