Like to see Roland electric kit work with Rock Band

I think it would be cool if someone could figure out a way to connect/interface a 'real' electric drum kit (Roland or other) up to Rock Band. I personally don't like the fact that the drum kit included with Rock Band is not adjustible (other than up or down).

this would be awesome. need some sort of general midi to USB triggering. Im sure it could be easily written in software if you didnt mind having your pc act as a bridge, otherwise it would need to be a hardware device.

im thinking about looking into the bass pedal which is getting the most abuse outta me. hah double bassing can get kinda dangerous on plastic. but the bass pedal is just a headphone jack with one lead. so is should be super easy to single lead connect an real electric double bass trigger to the RB drums

now the rest of the kit would take some huge modding. more like taking the controller out of the drums and wiring it to the Roland set. it should all be simple +/- switches going to the drums heads. sorry dont have $1200 to temp this but in a few months i wouldnt mind paying $150 for an electronic bass pedal
