Hah i remember i was playing with me and my brother and 2 bots. The second level where the witch is ya know...
We were hiding in the cave and the witch was just on the right of where you can get out. We are looking out planning on what to do and all of the sudden


Bill walks out of nowhere and goes 2 feet away from her with his flashlight OFF. Me and my bro are like OH SHIIIIIIIIT!!! And she didnt move yet but bill shines his light right in her face and she stands up And picks him up and throws him against the wall and he dies.

If I owned a 360 I wouldn't get it because it only has 4 scenarios. I'd get really bored replaying the same levels over and over again.

I've played through the demo three times, and it's always different. The AI puts zombies in different spots and spawns weapons differently to keep it from getting stale. Mine's in the mail at the moment; it's gonna be a blast when it arrives

I played through a little bit of one of the Scenarios, each "Act" isn't that long, takes about 20-30 minutes per act (I think there's 5 missions or whatever per Scenario). The game is creepy. Not gonna lie, it's very dark and you're best friend is the flashlight. Turning a dark corner and having a zombie jump at you is intense.

I'll probably check out online here in a bit, some of the Versus or something. The only thing I don't like is it doesn't have the zoom-in when you press Left Trigger like CoD or Battlefield, but oh wells. If I could find 3 other people to play with, the Scenarios would be a blast.

Agreed, that what I love about the promise of this game. The random AI makes a different battle for another day, a game that combines my interest of zombies and randomness is what I've been waiting for.

Not only does the game generate different stuff each time, but I think the main point is to play it with other people. Yeah, you CAN play it alone. But I don't think that was the primary intention, seeing as you're forced to have all of the characters with you at all times. The non-human controlled ones are just computer controlled (and are programmed pretty well, IMO! Usually computer teammates suck!).

I've just played the demo. It looks really fun, but not the type of game I'd pay full retail price for. I'll wait for a price drop or sale.

This was an extremely enjoyable demo. I'm very excited to pick it up today after work. You just have to keep in mind it's a fast-paced game. The action is constant, so if you like going in guns-blazing - and you hate zombies - this is a big win.

I enjoyed the demo, playing one time through felt more like an Arcade game then an actual full on game, but it was still very fun, after I get my new HDD for my 360 I'll think of picking it up.

I picked this up today...it's honestly the first game I've played where single player is EASIER than multiplayer. In the single player mode (at least on normal) the other characters generally stick around and doing what their supposed to do.

It's the multiplayer where this takes the cake...if only in terms of the massive amounts of cursing you're gonna do. A perfectly well played game...F***ED up by some noob running off on his own, and getting shredded.

The Director is possibly the coolest feature I've seen in awhile. I've played 2 of the scenarios several times, and no time has it played the same. Nothing worse than the farmhouse scene, and staring out a window....only to see a TANK climbing up the ladder.

The only real issue I can see with the game is this. The lack of scenarios. 4 for single/co-op and only 2 available in VS. Granted I get the Counter Strike theory (who doesn't love to play the original maps STILL), and I have heard that massive amounts of DLC is planned for this game, but if they don't start coming out soon, I get worried about how long it'll be played by people.

But anyways...so far the game is probably the best multiplayer game of the year (That's with Gears and World at War). Pick it up.

If you are not going to play on line with 4 people, do not buy. You don't get anywhere near the full experience playing with bots.

That being said, I love this game.

After playing this for 8 hours straight... I LOVE IT.

I picked it up, and played No Mercy and Death Toll with my brother, both very fun. Then we switched to the MP side of things. It was simply amazing! Its very fun to be a survivor, if you have a good team, its very fun to be an infected.

my red pad on my drums won't recognize my hits and my guitar is unresponsive and the whammy bar broke off :(

Yeah, the Multiplayer (Versus) is ridiculously fun. Especially when your zombies. Zombies are way better than the Survivors.

L4D is pretty sick on the PC, I dunno about the 360 though. I'm a firm believer in any Valve game is best played on a PC.

I picked it up for PC as well. This games feels much more natural on the PC, and it's not too strenuous on the hardware requirements, either. My 2006 nVidia Quadro FX 1400 still runs the game great, combined with my P4 3.0 and 2.5GB of RAM.
