Multiplayer Band

Ok.. I have a World Tour Band that my wife and/or son usually plays with me.

If my son or wife doesn't want to play for a while, how can I invite someone to temporary join the band online so that I can continue?

The documenation for online play seems to be missing..

Hmm, I must really be misunderstanding something then..

So all the band threads in the band forum...

They are for people using the band quick play only? Or is it for them to find people to come to there house (which sounds silly)?

I'm assuming it's for Band quick play.. So, can you assosiate a Band quick play with a band you created? Because many of them threads specify a specific band name..

It's crazy that for $170 bunks a bundle, someone couldn't take a few hours to create a couple lines of text explaining how the online stuff works..

BTW, I don't have the game yet. I don't own a PS3. Though I do know about PSN. You can Band quick play.

go grab a mic stand with a mic holder (wireless)
put singing on easy and play your guitar.

I don't mean to sound like a broken record.. But... I don't think I saw the answer up there..

I understand you can not play BWT online.. That's not what I'm asking anymore...

But.. I'm not sure I understand the band forum.. Does this sound right?

1) They use it for for Band quick mode which does not give you any money and fans as it is not related to BWT at all.
2) For people that live close to each other to play BWT at someones house so they can get money and fans.


I really think not allowing online play with BWT is a glaring mistake as many people will not have any friends or relatives that like playing stuff like this on a regular basis.. :(

They should be releasing a patch that allows BWT online sometime soon.
