It's great that we got some Rush, but there is defintely a lack of great canadian music. How about any of the following for DLC:

I agree with your Nickelback sentiment... however, that song is from before they blew up and became stale. Also, you were right about the New Pornographers
I should have added "Starseed" by Our Lady Peace

I got over myself and listened to the Nickelback song -- probably their best song I've ever heard :) The music is good, though I would still feel bad singing lol
I would love to see Stars, Constantines, Wolf Parade, Broken Social Scene and even K-Os (Valhalla!!).
Edit:
Wolf Parade - I'll believe in Anything

There was a similar thread (http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84367) earlier that also suggested some great Canadian music. We should merge these two threads and keep this topic alive. You can never have too much Canadian music!

Every time Canadian music comes up, I bring up the same bands:
Metric, Sloan, Stars, The Arcade Fire, Tokyo Police Club, Wintersleep and Broken Social Scene. More of The New Pornographers would be great too.
I would actually kill for a Canadian Indie Pack like this:
I.O.U. - Metric
Take Me To The Riot - Stars
Neighborhood #3 (Power Out) - The Arcade Fire
Cheer It On - Tokyo Police Club
Dead Letter - Wintersleep
Cause = Time - Broken Social Scene

finally, someone else who's strayed away from their radio set in this country. Good mentions.

I would quite enjoy some Teenage Head or The Headstones for some Canadian music. Another thing I'd like is some music from Hard Core Logo, one of the greatest movie-bands of all time.

I would go with Finger Eleven, you can put the entire Greyest Of Blue Skies album up. And for a hardcore flavour how about some three packs of Comeback Kid and Figure Four.

Tegan and Sara:

Walking With A Ghost - /watch?v=O4THv5SYfBo
Speak Slow - /watch?v=CgAX0KHmU6A
(add the youtube.com in front of each, this way it doesn't cluster the whole thread with videos)
I'm glad there aren't alot of requests for theory of a deadman and three days grace. I thought I'd add a song from Protest the Hero. This is guaranteed to melt a few faces

All by Silverstein, if they made a 3 pack of these songs I'd be so happy and wouldn't care what else was put on for DLC.

Theory of a Deadman and Three Days Grace would be nice but I couldn't name any specific song that would be challenging or non-repetitive.
This not so well known band would be great though.
Stare Well (http://www.myspace.com/starewell)
I think Broke and Out of Money would be the bes choice if I had to choose one.

It's really, really cool that we have as much awesome Rush as we do in RB, especially with the DLC of Moving Pictures. But, how about a CanRock Track Pack?
Awesome Canadian Rock that should be in Rock Band (not necessarily my favorite tracks from these bands, but ones I think would be great all-around for RB play):
Our Lady Peace:
The Birdman
Naveed
Not Enough
Car Crash
Tea Party:
Winter Solstice (!!!)
Temptation
Tragically Hip:
Fireworks
New Orleans Is Sinking
Matthew Good Band:
Everything Is Automatic
Load Me Up
Matthew Good (Solo):
99% Of Us Is Failure
Weapon
Zuckerbaby:
Heavy
Valentine
Philosopher Kings:
Hurts To Love You
I Am The Man
Barenaked Ladies:
The Old Apartment
Break Your Heart
Alcohol
Pinch Me
Sound Of Your Voice
