Whenever I get excited like this, I just blue myself. I'm pretty sure I want to get a ticket to this, but I'm still not 100% sure. I guess you could say I'm buy-curious.

I totally would go see that. The show was brilliant. You can watch it ten times and still find new things to laugh about.

It's been more or less confirmed for a while now... but additional word is always appreciated. (Will Arnett said something about it during press junkets for the movie "Semi-Pro" as well... at which point Will Farrell added that he would be willing to finance the film himself if it came to that)

Curious to see how it turns out. AD doesn't seem like something that could do well in movie form but who knows.
I think I've watched the entire series 6 times now and it's still so so awesome.

I hardly ever go to the movies, but I would be first in line for this.
If anyone has HDNET they are currently playing thru the series and it's pretty great in HD.

It's an illusion... a trick is something a whore does for money. :)

i'm a fan of the TV series, but i have trouble expecting this to be much more than a disappointment.

My wife and I have watched through our AD DVDs about 20 times now, and they still make me laugh.
My attitude is that any AD is better than no AD, but it strikes me as the kind of program that works much better in the half hour format than it would as a movie. I will certainly go see the film, and I'm sure I will enjoy it, but I wonder if it will have the same magic.
Similarly, I wonder if they will pick up where the series left off (Lucille and the family fleeing aboard the Queen Mary seems like a difficult place to start off from), or if they will redo the continuity of the final episode (which I would be okay with, since I found the ending a bit disappointing, as it does a lot of character assassination on Lucille and clashes so strongly with the image that all the earlier shows developed for George Sr).

i agre they should redo the last episode. my favorite series of the decase and its so funny and i love it sooooo much and im excited but that last episoede bummed me out. i didnt like finding out Michael and Lindsay werent twins, that Lucille had all this going on, and George Sr was a dumb figurehead. it was funny epiode but it changed too much that the series already established that made y9ou fall in love with the characters.
but anyway you place it, this rules. Barry Zuckerkorn better be in the ovie. Make sure the fonz is contacted. Those are balls.

I would pay 10 American dollars for a ticket to s apin-off Barry Zuckercorn movie.
If they made a spinoff Barry Zuckercorn TV show, it would probably be the best show on television.

I don't know, the Bob Loblaw Law Blog is pretty nice.
But Barry also produced one of my favorite lines from AD:
Barry: And you don’t want to go in front of that judge. I caught him in a drag club.
Gob: What were you doing there?
Barry: Wow...you should be the lawyer.

Gob: What were you doing there?
Barry: Wow...you should be the lawyer.
Barry: If you really wanna settle this, now your job is to convince that "wife" of yours that you are willing to go in front of a judge and admit that you never had sex.
Gob: She has a name Barry. You don't happen to know what it is by the way, do you?
Barry: That's why I want to settle - I'm not "super prepared."
Gob: Well, we did have sex, and I'm not a great liar.
Narrator: Both things he just said were lies.

It's been rumored long enough, that I was pretty sure it was coming eventually. Great, great show. As somebody else mentioned, you can watch it repeatedly and still catch new things you missed previously.
Like when Henry Winkler jumped over the shark in the one ep. I had to back up the DVR to make sure I actually saw what I thought I saw. Great show, and hopefully - great movie.

I hope Alia hasn't aged too much. I know Michael still looks like he's 12.
