I need some help with the mic

Can anyone tell me how to use the XBOX 360 headset as the mic? I tried the confihuration tht was on the little paper but it didn't worked so I used the 360 comtroller and plug it into that but it didn't register anything anyone please?

Here's how I got it to work:

Plug in the regular (Harmonix) mic like you would if you were going to sing. Start up your tour or whatever. Then unplug the mic, and plug in your headset mic into the controller you were using to go thru the menus, etc. It will say something onscreen about your mic being unplugged and to test it to make sure it works. Talk into your headset mic and the sound should come out of your speakers. There ya go!

Now try playing drums and singing with the headset mic!
