I have been wondering this. I don't know if I'll be able to get a 360 or PS3 soon, but I really do want Rock Band...but I also don't want to buy the PS2 version and have to re buy the whole bundle when I get a new console.
So my question is, will the 360 and PS3 versions be compatible with the PS2's instruments?
Since both the 360 and PS2 versions use that USB hub, are they going to be compatible? And since you can use PS2 stuff on the PS3, will that work too?

The PS3 version doesn't use a hub it's not wired it's wireless that uses a Dongle that plugs into the usb port to receive the signal as it's not using bluetooth.
No you cant use the PS2 SG on the PS3 the only guitar that works on PS3 at the moment is the PS3 strat that comes in the bundle or when the standalone versions are released for Rock band, nor can you use the PS2 SG on the 360 they don't use the same technology.
