Exporting rock band 1 songs into rock band 2

I was wondering if there is a restriction on the number of times the same rock band 1 game can be exported.

I.e. can i borrow my friends rock band 1 and export all the songs (by paying the $5 and all that).

There is no restriction. You are violating the terms of the licensing agreement though if you don't actually own the game.

Well I was just thinking about buying a used rockband 1 game and exporting the songs just to have everything in one place. But I'd still go back to rockband 1 just to play run to the hills and enter sandman.

So, there is nothing wrong/illegal about this right?

no and youre really violating the licensing rules since you have to be conencted online. xbox 360 users need to be connected to use dlc on console that it wasnt originally purchased on and ps3 users have a max of 5 consoles

How about for Playstation 2 ... is there anyway to import or export the songs from one game to the other... I have RB2, but would totally buy RB1 if I could find a way to get those songs on RB2!!!

Any help from you RB Gurus would be excellent

no only the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of RB1 will export into the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of RB2
