I was testing my christmas present the other day and after finding that everything was fine my wife asked me to put everything back in the box. Yeah it is a pain in @$$ but I was able to put everything back with the exception of the guitar. Can I remove the head without braking the guitar? How do I do that? Anybody?
Thanks,
Al

Tried the same thing, no luck and no, I don't really feel like breaking my guitar.

No it comes off.
Take the 4-5 screws off of the back of the piece on the end of the neck and remove the back.
Underneath is a metal plate with a single (very small) screw. Remove it and the plate.
You should be able to take the guitar apart now.
Reassemble.

Has any fearless rocker done this already?? If I do this I probably have to do it when my wife is not looking :D

That could be a reason why it's removable.....

I did it! It wasn't that bad, but I was a little worried at first. Now where is the Star Wars Darth Vader and Storm Trooper headstock

Do like I did it dont push it all the way down and you can take it off anytime you want. Sure it has a small gap but who cares. It stays on and wont come off unless you pull it off.

does removing the headstock by unscrewing the top void the warranty? Is there a seal or something?

No, there is no sticker or anything else that voids your warranty if you open it up. (If you start cutting wires or soldering stuff, thats a different story)
I took it apart last night and took some pictures. I'm gonna make a post soon to show what this stuff looks like.
But the quick answer to the question is yes. It requires a small and a medium screwdriver, but it's pretty idiot proof.
