I found a way to fix the RB2 drums from shutting off.
(I posted this on PSU but also decided to post it here as well)
- RB2 drums seem to stop working when playing during a song which can get annoying cause you have to turn it off then on.
Problem: This is not a wireless problem... every time you hit the pads with force, it moves the batteries inside which can shut off the drum system
Solution: STEP 1, Remove the top that covers the batteries. | STEP 2, cut out a thick piece of soft material and place it on the top.| STEP 3 place the top back with the piece of soft material on it.
(This will allow the batteries to stay intact while you beat the pads like crazy) :P

I also posted this reply in your identical posting on the Rock Band forum:
Thanks for sharing. I'm glad that you were able to resolve your problem, but many of us have documented this problem in the past.
This problem is unique to the SL drums (with softer, squishy foam). The EL drums use a harder foam that holds the batteries much better, but the battery cover does not close as easily.
Another way to solve this same problem is my AC adapter mod.

Styky is not a real word, it is suppose to be sticky/stickie but i wanted it spelled different...
The following thread is for people that may have the same issue as me and don't know the solution for it.
Think of it has a reminder.
