Badmotorfinger > Superunknown?

I do, so far (Half way through)) the album is leagues better and is definitely really Grungey... sounds great

That's a tough one. I have listened to Soundgarden for nearly 20 years (yeah I'm old) and bought one on tape and one on CD when they came out. Badmotorfinger IS more Grungy and it has Rusty Cage, Jesus Christ Pose and Outshined. I have to say judging by the amount I listen to the two that Superunknown wins by a hair.

IDK, I like a grungier sound... It's alt rock and metal together... how do I lose?

Alright, I'm throwing some Badmotorfinger on the iPod since I haven't listened to it in a while.

Oh yeah, we need Outshined for DLC. It has some wierd 7/8 beat or something like that so it would be uber cool.

They are both relatively unique experiences and are both worth your time, money, and praise.

Their both great albums and a fine example of what Soundgarden is all about. I say Superunknown then Badmotorfinger and lastly Down on the Upside.

i definitely prefer badmotorfinger, though i'm not a fan of soundgarden...

the two soundgarden songs i can say that i remember liking (it's been a long time since i've heard anything more than the singles) are "fell on black days" and "pretty noose".

Pretty Noose and Fell on Black Days are pretty good tunes. Have you guys checked out any of their early material? Their is this one song called Hands All Over from their second album Louder Than Love and I liked t quite a bit. Chris Cornell's voice was just starting to develop.
