I am using the Ion drum kit. I keep getting missed notes like it is a double strike. The note is hit yet it will zero out the multiplier bar. This happens mostly off of the cymbal pad. When I revert to the drum it does not happen at all. It also seems to depend on were the cymbal is hit and how. If I hit straight down in the center of the rubberized zone. If hit on the edge or not center zoned then counts it as a double strike on the note.
Secondly I keep getting controller to lose connection for a moment. It takes a second or so to reconnect. Then I have to resume game. The center Xbox lit button will cycle though the 4 lights then go solid on which ever zone it was lit on. I thought that it was from vibration causing a wire to come lose or lose connection. I secured the wires so that they did not jiggle. This did not work. I also removed the controller and placed it away from the drum kit. This did not work either.
So my question is. Do I have a bad controller? Do I have a bad cymbal? Or is it both or something entirely different?
