Guitar Hero fret appearance in Rock Band?

The frets in Rock Band look like they do in Guitar Hero. Does anyone know how to change that setting? I can't seem to find it anywhere. I find myself slightly off with the new appearance or it just requires more precision. I've got it for the 360.

That screenshot is from 6-28, and an old build of the game before the UI reached its current state.
