Is it just me or does it seem like all the new RB2 and DLC songs have no "marked" guitar solo's and/or ending where you just tap as many buttons' as possible to build points.
What happened to that? it's not a big deal. but it was fun to have everyone go nutz at the end of a song to try an get 30,000 points to add to the counter :)

They have solos. And big rock endings are usually for covers or when the song fades out. They just haven't had any use for the big rock endings, I guess.

There's an assload of big rock endings in the AC/DC RB. out of 18 songs I think 16 of them have the BRE and some of them are super long, me and one other person playing together got more than 100000 points on a couple of them.

Yeah most of the older tunes have em, but it seems the newest tunes don't. Like thier moving away from doing that sort of setup.
Some newer tunes have the solo parts in the "tabliture" but they aren't marked as solo's.

It was fun the first couple of times. However, deep into a party, I start to cringe as I see the masses destroying my guitar buttons for a BRE. I also do not like a close score duel being determined by who can hit the solo buttons the fastest (even worse if you're not using a RB guitar). I'm glad they're sort of phasing it out.

There was an article in Game Informer recently that mentioned this. Apparently some of the bands took exception to the concept. Something about the player being able to change the music they wrote or something. So, HMX has limited their use. AC/DC pretty much requires it since all their songs just end with screaming instruments anyway.
I don't see the big deal but some bands <coughMetallicacough> use every opportunity to be whiny *****es they can. I wonder why they don't complain about the easy difficulty levels not representing the actual tablature.

LOL, somehow I kinda thought that was the reason :)

I was never a fan of them. I'm happy that it seems to be a dying trend.
