Playstation 2 GHWT drums on RockBand 1 -2??

Hi there. I leave in Greece so i wasnt able to buy the rock band drums because there were no release for here. I bought the rock band 1 game when it was released from a amazon.com and my guitar heo guitar is working fine!

Now i got the guitar hero drum set that was released here and rock band 1 doesnt even recognize this as a controller :(

Is there any possibility that harmonix will include in the rock band 2 game (release month is december for ps2) the patch that will allow ghwt drums work with rock band 2??

It will be a complete dissaster if not ...

Anyone know's something about ??

Since they probably won't patch RB1 on PS3, I don't see any chances for support of the PS2.

The problem is not rock band 1 to be honest but rock band 2.. I am afraid that they will not support ghwt drums on rock band 2 for ps2 :(

That's what I wanted to say. They patched RB2 on PS3 and now it works with the GHWT kit. But they don't care about the PS2 or RB1 anymore. They'll just release the games on PS2 and try to get at least some money from the old generation.

since you are (as myself) european and own a console, which was not made by big buddy M$, you (and I) won't see a patch at any time soon.

Aren't the WT drums for the PS2 the same as the WT Drums for the PS3? I thought it was similar to the RB side of things

If they are, surely you have something less to worry about.

They might include WT support, it could account for the sudden RB2 PS2 Delay in the US.

Well ps2 drums for GHWT are the same as PS3. But in order to work on the ps3 rock band 2 version you have to update the game via internet with a patch..
Lets hope harmonix will apply the patch to the rock band 2 ps2 version.

Rock band2 for ps2 will be released in the next few days , so to be honest i dont think there will be a patch.

So if you (as i) have ps2 and want to play both games you must by both drum sets (not sold seperately that equals to 2 full band kits... f**k)
I prefer updating my real set with 400e :p
