I exported my Rock Band 1 songs to Rock Band 2 and sold back RB1 to Game Stop. When I downloaded the code for the 20 free songs all my RB1 songs and online downloads disappeared. I re-downloaded the songs from online, but what do I do about my RB1 songs. I dont want to have to buy the game again just for the songs and if I do will I have to pay the 800 points again? Is there some kind of code or something? HELP!!!:eek:

There is no code, since the exported songs are not downloaded from XBL. As long as you still have the Export License Key on your Xbox, all you need to do is go rent RB1 or borrow it from a friend. Then you can do the export again without paying a cent.

And even if you don't have the License Key file, you can download that again through XBL by going to your Download History and grabbing it from there.

Is this true for the PS3 as well?
So you buy a key, which you can access in the Online Store (and download 5 times?) or on the machine's download history if you need it again?

Yep, it's true for the PS3 too.
