Black Friday, Anyone?

I was wondering how many of you fellow rockers are part of the crazy segment of the population that enjoys camping outside your local retailer early Thanksgiving evening to be among the first through the door the following morning to take advantage of the Black Friday deals.

Last year I got a good deal on a 50" Samsung, an Onkyo 5.1 sound system, a Garmin GPS and a few random movies. The year before that I got a 500GB external hard drive, a couple of thumb drives and the flu.

If any of you are in the market for any big-ticket items like a new widescreen (or your first widescreen) then perhaps it's time to hit http://www.blackfriday.info/ or http://bfads.net/ to do some research--or you can wait until tomorrow morning for your BF ads if you get the paper.

So how 'bout it? Anyone feel like braving the elements for some cheap consumer electronics or other-such stuff?

Absolut, I think every post I write/type, you're always the one that starts it.. But whatever... >.>

I'm onyl sixteen but I've had to wake up at two thirty in the morning to get ready for my PARENTS to shop for themselves, and it's stupid... Lol... I so would go this year, but I don't work, so why go?

But for those thinking of going, who have never gone, it's a pretty nice day to shop, I mean pricewise... I mean, if you don't like people, well, I gurantee you by the end of the shopping day, you'll hate people even more... People get insane this one day of the year... I don't mean just one here and there, I mean, all all over... Lol...

I won't doing that this year I got other plans to see Yes on Friday.(Sure, Jon Anderson won't be there unfortunately but it'll be fun to see White, Squire, and Steve Howe).

I'm going to camp out with some buddies of mine, hopefully after a day of doing double time at work(Hell yes!!!!) Sadly, I'm too broke until the next check to get anything, so it's all window shopping for me...until next Friday.

I used to work retail, it quite fun to sit just inside the door is the warm and watch all the people freezing for 2 hours for 3 bucks off a power ranger toy

anyways I plan on heading out to best buy and circuit city around noonish when the crowds are eating lunch and snag some cheap blurays and the orange box for 20 bucks

other than that Ill be watching movies and eating leftovers on black friday

Seriously, if you are going to best Buy you might want to go at Midnight or earlier, since that place usually crowds the first (or at least in my area.) I'm heading out to BB at 8pm tonight, so I'm going to warm and comfy :)

New Tv, couple Wii's, Movies, Blu Rays, etc just to go on Ebay to be sold for the original amount + cause I'm more patient then soccer moms.

No way in hell I'm going to get up that early on a day off, then deal with a throng of idiots, to maybe get a good deal on something. If I can find it online, or get it later in the day, then it was meant to be. If not, I'll live.
