Did I get a messed up set of drum sticks?

I bought my PS3 copy of the game at launch, and a few friends came over today to play. One friend, who also bought a PS3 copy at launch, immediately noticed that my drum sticks are completely bare. His, on the other hand, have Rock Band logos on them and are much more smooth, having an almost plastic texture to them. Whereas mine are just two plain sticks of wood.

Has anybody else encountered this problem? If so, is there some way I can exchange them for the better ones?

Yup, I got crappy word and went and bought some Vic Firth ones.

Mine had the RB logo and the drum set logo, but I've since wrapped the bottoms in athletic tape (like for a tennis racket) so its no longer visible.

Mine is just wood, but has the logo.

Yeah i also got the bare wood ones. I dont care for the logo stuff but it would had been nice if they at least put some wood finish paint because you i feel some splinters coming out. If i pass by guitar center i will pick up some nice ones.

Maybe I didn't phrase my post right. His aren't actually plastic, they're wood with some kind of polish that gives them a much more smooth feel.

We both bought ours at Gamestop. Not the same Gamestop, but neither of us did any special online orders or anything.

just go to http://support.ea.com/rockband. There is an option for drumstick support, maybe you can find something there.

The drumsticks aren't the only problem! I bought this game and totally got a fake set of drums. The guitar seems a little fake too, and I'd really like a nicer one.
