Well with songs like The Camera Eye it's now apparent that Harmonix is willing to put in songs longer than 10 minutes. But my question is will they ever put in extremely long songs.

For example the 2 songs I want to see from Dream Theater in Rock Band the most are The Glass Prison and A Change of Seasons. The only problem is, The Glass Prison is almost 14 minutes, and A Change of Seasons is just under 24 minutes. Does anyone think Harmonix would ever put in a song that long? Or would that just be too long for the average Rock Band player?

I hope they put longer songs in. My most wanted song is Hemispheres by Rush and that's 18 minutes. The question is, could they separate a longer song into parts? I think any song that's 15 minutes or more would have to be separated into parts. I don't think it would be necessary for The Glass Prison though~

I'd think It'd be cool for 1983 by Jimi Hendrix to be DLC...but it's like 16...or 18 minutes long.

I think they should really draw the line at 15 minutes or something.

They put Prequel to the Sequel on RB2 and that song is really 8 minutes long, and not that edited 5-minute crap they did. The best stuff on that song is during the end when they scream COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER! I don't know if they can pull that off, because I too want Dream Theater more in RB or GH. I want This Dying Soul, Endless Sacrifice, Honor Thy Father, Beyond This Life, and In the Name of God, and they are all over 10 minutes long! It's only a dream..........

That doesn't mean we can't have songs that are longer than 15 minutes~ as long as they split the track into two or three parts.

I doubt they will, but it IS a possibility. I would like some of the longer YES songs TBH.

I would love to play Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence by Dream Theater.
