Ooh very nice. Looks great! I can't wait for more videos to come out, Mississipi Queen looks like a lot of fun! The intros look cool too where it pauses and shows each player. Being able to do random song is a good idea too, and a nice addition.

Was it too dark to see or on the pause screen does it go completely black? Because that to me would be a bad idea because you would easily lose your place that way, at least when you see the notes you have a chance to hit the notes when you come back from being paused.

I'm pretty sure the jam session is only for certain songs. I don't think they all have it.

Also, this video confirms that the bass/guitar tracks can be either on the left or right. It's chosen before each song.

also just to clear some things up, the person on the left side of the screen was playing rythm guitar, and the person on the right was playing lead, so it won't always be bass/rythm on the right and lead on the left.

Yeah, I think everyone has to make it through the entire song without one person failing to get the ending bonus. I like that you can each choose a difficulty, and placement on the screen. Also nice to know that there will be lead combined with bass/rhythm sections on some songs instead of all bass. This is looking better and better the more I see of it.

Also of note, I believe this is an old build of the game because if you look at the notes they are still round like Guitar Hero. When looking at the preview on IGN.com today, with new screens, the notes are smaller and rectangle. So basically, it already looks this good and it's not even polished yet.

So get ready to be blown away next week at E3. I hear Rock Band will have it's own E3 event next Wednesday night at 9pm PST. That's Midnight on the East coast. I can't wait!!!

The thing is, since everyone is playing a different part of the band, if someone is not hitting their notes you will know it. So you will know what is happening just by the song actually being played correctly.

Actually, I think these are the new smaller notes we're seeing in this video. I think it's hard to tell because their appearance is more circular when they're moving. The thing they pass through when you play the notes matches the size of the new smaller notes. I think this is a recent build.

There's plenty of good classic country and country rock/southern rock that would fit into the game well. I think most new country suck, but in the classic country area, Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson would be fun, if a bit easy, and country/southern rock like the Charlie Daniels Band, The Eagles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Lynard Skynrd, The Outlaws, .38 Special, and others would fit perfectly.

Modern country? No thanks.

Don't underestimate the Wii's graphical capabilities. And even if you are right, whats so bad about lessening the graphics for a Wii port? Stop talking BS, Wii is powerful enough. Just look at games like Smash Brothers Brawl & Mario Galaxy. They look very good. Also the Rock Band devs have already said that it's coming to Wii as well.

Since we don't know everything about the online portion of the game yet no one can say for sure...But I have an inkling those friend codes would **** up the experience hardcore.

I'm pretty sure it will be able to handle online, and however the online ends up with PS3 and 360 it will be similar on the Wii, 3rd party games aren't restricted by friend codes.

The real question is what will happen with the Wii and DLC, hopefully they will release a HD (possibly announced next week?) that will take care of it, because the Wii has very little save space.

The wii is weaker than the original Xbox. It would look awful on it. But if you're not fortunate to own anything other than old gen consoles like the Wii, then it should work fine. It'll just be ugly as sin, but then again GH3 and RB aren't about graphics...but awesome HD graphics do add a lot to the experience.

Also the Graphics, although not high on GH or RB (which are higher that GH) still won't look as good on PS2

And i don't think the PS2 processor could take all four people playing at once. you would need a next gen. system propbably

Plus the Mississippi Queen one was extremely bad quality and showed an early and unfinished build of the game. Not to mention it accidentally being paused a couple of time, it's a small thing to be blamed on the person that pressed it but I can imagine jerks blaming Harmonix for poor peripheral design based solely on the video.

it's actually not that long of a wait at all. If you think about it we should know probably 90% of EVERYTHING in the game within 2 months of the game's release. (probably less if this game is as deep as it seems). I wouldn't be suprised if we found out all the songs in the game by the end of the summer
