Borrowing form the in-game set list, I happen to think we're horribly represented in the game (Alanis...really?), and national pride is as good a first song suggestion reason as any, I suppose.
I mean, of the top of my head, some good ones we can bring out are
April Wine - Weeping Widow, Roller, Bad Side Of The Moon
Our Lady Peace - Superman's Dead, Starseed
I Mother Earth - Not Quite Sonic, Rain Will Fall, Summertime In The Void
Edwin & The Pressure - Superhoney
Bachman Turner Overdrive - Takin' Care Of Business, Ain't seen Nothing Yet
Trooper - The Boys In The Bright White Sports Car, Raise A Little Hell
Bryan Adams - Summer of '69
Tom Cochrane - Life Is A Highway
Colin James - Real Stuff, Chicks, Cars, And The Third World War, Far Away Like A Radio
Five Man Electrical Band - Signs (album version)
Kim Mitchell - Go For A Soda, Rock'n'Roll Duty
Protest The Hero - Palms Read, Seqouia Throne
The Tea Party - Temptation
Sum 41 - Fat Lip/Pain For Pleasure, What We're All About(Original Version)
Good Charlotte - Festival Song
Project Wyze - Room To Breathe
Dead Celebrity Status - We Fall
The Pursuit Of Happiness - I'm An Adult Now
Slik Toxik - Helluvatime
Northern Pikes - She Ain't Pretty
Custom - Hey Mister (Maybe.... the censoring might wreck it)
and probably dozens of others... it's just sad to see the country portrayed as merely "the place Rush came from" as far as rock goes.

Man, this is like the third Canadian music thread this week.
Anyways, as per usual:
Sloan - If It Feels Good Do It
Metric - Dead Disco/Succexy/I.O.U.
The Arcade Fire - Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)
Broken Social Scene - Cause = Time
Wintersleep - Drunk On Aluminium/Dead Letter
Stars - Take Me To The Riot
The Pack A.D. - Making Gestures
The New Pornographers - From Blown Speakers

Must every thread begin by putting down artists people dislike? We're horribly represented because Alanis Morissette is in. Really? She's not my favourite Canadian artist, and they picked a song from her worst album (except the "Alanis" era, obviously), but as far as I'm concerned she is superior to many bands you've listed:
Our Lady Peace
Edwin
Tom Cochrane
Colin James
Protest The Hero
Good Charlotte
Slik Toxik (WOW!)
Northern Pikes
We've also got the New Pornographers in there, who are fantastic. (Anyone else wishing the upcoming Country DLC turns out to be a Neko Case three-pack?)
Overcookedbacon is spot on with his requests, though he deserves a little slap on the wrist for leaving out Wolf Parade.

I will probably love Wolf Parade once I actually get around to checking them out. I keep forgetting. Canadian indie is usually pretty awesome, and from what I hear Wolf Parade is no exception. I left out Tokyo Police Club as well. I wouldn't mind having some of their EP stuff as DLC.
And hey, I may not like most (if not all) the bands that XacharyCross listed either, but at least he didn't say Nickleback.

Not a big fan of our home grown artists, but I do enjoy BTO.
