I want to see all of Radiohead's OK Computer.
I want to see 'keyboard' songs like Depeche Mode, even if we have to play them on guitar. I think this would be awesome, and the bass and drums would be really fun for some of these. An easy and obvious pic would be something like Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus," for simple guitar and drums; but I would also like to see more synthy work featured, again, even if it's played on a guitar, for the game.
That said,
1. Any Cure, Smiths, or Depeche Mode song
2. Radiohead
3. What about Coldplay? Fix You would be awesome to sing.
4. Keane?
5. Def Leppard
6. Quiet Riot
7. bands like Ultravox, Flock of Seagulls-- you KNOW we have to get the DOOT DOOT song
8. the The (with Johnny Marr)
9. Peter Gabriel!
10 Journey, Styxx
11 Bee Gees!
12 Pink Floyd (including the Sid Meier years, or whatever his name was?)
13 Procul Harem
14 Hendrix
15 Inagoda Devita, whoever makes that
16 Duran Duran
17 Cocteau Twins!
and so on. It would be interesting seeing the lyrics for a Cocteau Twins song!
