We are trying to eliminate lag in our rear projection HDTV with a Yamaha receiver. The audio is going through optical cable into the receiver. We've gone through the manual a/v calibration many times, adjusting it from -300ms to 300ms with no change. We've gone through all the receiver settings too and nothing has worked. Most noticable on the mic with roughly 1 second lag. Please let us know if there is anything we can do, very frustrated.

If it's mic lag you're dealing with, from what I've read, I think you're screwed. Perhaps a future patch will address the mic lag. Is there other audio lag?

Yes, it does seem to have other audio lag, I can watch the animated singer sing and his words are off too. It seems all instruments are off the same amount of time. This REALLY sucks, why the hell was this not addressed in the making of the game? We have an awesome surround sound and it is very disappointing this game doesnt work with it.

Did you try running the video through the receiver too?

I have my audio and video running through my ONKYO receiver... other than the standard mic lag, everything else is fine.
