Ok, I've tested the game extensively over the last 4 days on Xbox with various players of all skill levels. I've also avidly read the boards here and would like to take the opportunity to make a thread that brings together the most suggested/wanted/begged-for improvements. Best game ever, and I mean that.
1) Let our characters change instruments at will. You should be able to pick a character and then the instrument, not the other way around.
2) Let us change band leader at will. Now we won't need umpteen different bands just to have our own characters for each instrument. The BAND should stay persistent, members come and go, including the leader.
3) Make some kind of improvment to the fan caps in BWT. Perhaps lower levels could earn 25, 50, or 75% of the fans that expert would. Make all the casual folks feel like they're still getting somewhere.
4) Some people want the choice for hyperspeed. I imagine they'd like to speed up guitar scrolling and spread some notes out so the infamous Made In China Strat has a better chance to hit them.
5) Why can't you save and copy tattoos/logos? (Evidently you can?)
6) Forgot one: some folks would like the foot pedal requirement removed from drums. Not me, though.
I'm sure there's more but these seem to be the high points. Let's be nice and civil and see if Harmonix will answer us one way or the other.
