Off the list, Daniel Ash. But overall, Duane Allman (i.e. Someone Who Sucks).

LOL
yeah, one two many threads where someone says "who's your favorite" and just lists the obvious ones, eventually my snark will come alive. fizler doesn't get it.
Oh, and Afterstasis, I intentionally left Kevin Shields off because I was afraid you or Zeleii would vote for him. :) I voted vicki peterson, because she's harsh.

ive been thinking of doing a thread like that with bands or drummers that only I (and maybe JukeBoxHero, afterstasis and Der_lex) might know

i'm admittedly awful with names, so the only ones i recognized were ash and peterson.
i'm also really bad at knowing bands' locations, equipment they use, etc.
i blame it on my phobia of trivial pursuit and jeopardy, both of which my parents are hardcore fans (and i despise).

The other 3 aren't as well known. Rutten and Jansen are from the Gathering and Epica, respectively, and Glen Hansard is from the Frames. Your parents are awesome. :) I watch jeopardy constantly.
Oh, and A21, I think we should have that poll of bands no one knows but you! I'll vote for "other"!

Probably a topic better off without a poll.
EDIT: Sorry, I just realized this is some sort of inside joke... Right?

Glen Hansard is the only person I recognized off the list.
But I still refuse to vote for him because him and Marketa Irglov are mediocre in every field other than lyrical song writing. But nice try.

LOL you know, I haven't seen that yet. I heard he was in it, and got excited because I really love his music. It's true, he's actually not a great guitarist in the traditional sense, but if you've ever "experienced" (in the hendrix sense) the For the Birds album by the Frames, it absolutely blows your mind. When the crescendo hits on "Santa Maria", it's the closest thing to sex I've ever felt in a song. Truly a beautiful moment.
But yes, this whole thread is an inside joke. There's another one, too.
