Rock Band 1 patch 1.07

can anyone tell me or the rest of the forum exactly what this patch/update does for the game? I got the prompt today when I put the game in and I know we have been waiting for the patch for two which was released but what does this one do? Does it allow us to use the drums for GHWT in rock band 1? any information would be helpful

Well, i just started up my PS3 and there doesn't seem to be any patch at all..

I only went with Rock Band 1 today because I felt like playing Enter Sandman and since you cant export it to RB2 (thanks metallica you greedy sobs) I had to pop in the RB1 disk and was prompted to do a software upgrade. Im just curious as to what it actually does.

If this patch makes GHWT drums compatible with RB1 for PS3 and I can't download it I will be very angry :P

I dont want to give the imprssion that thats what this patch does. I just want to know what it does. I dont know what it does or doesnt do which is why i posted here to get the answer

@snakeeyes: When was the last time you played RB1 before today? It seems like this patch is already one week old.

probably like two or three weeks back. Last time i used the disk was when i imported all the songs minus enter sandman. I honestly just want to know what the patch does or is supposed to do. No one posted anything on it anywhere from harmonix as to if its supposed to help the game with something or if its made to piss us off so we get rock band 2, is it so aliens can hone in on our systems and use us for some kind of mind probe? what does it do

Hmmm, didn't we get a promise after the 1.06 patch that they would tell us what the patches was for? And now we have 1.07 and no clue as to what it did?

I've searched the internet to find out anything about this patch, and all I seem to find is about the new RB2 patch, as if no-one cares for RB1 anymore. But anyway, I would like to see this patch as the GHWT compatibility one. But I doubt it.

I'm in the UK, and I therefore don't have the patch yet, as it seems HMX don't care about us.:p

No. 1.07 does not fix the problem of working with GHWT drums.

I think it adds a "PRESS START" screen.
