Counting Crows

I have never heard of this band requested by anyone and being as it is my favorite band I would love for them to add some counting crows songs as DLC.

Namely,

Hangin' Around (Fun addition to the game, wouldn't be tough)
Angels of the Silences (SO much energy in this song, utilizes the 4 basic instruments well)
1492 (This song is 100 percent perfect for this game.)
Catapult (Once again, the song is pretty slow and basic but it has a good sound).

Discuss.

I'd think Round Here and Mr Jones would be obvious. And yeah, Counting Crows would be a great addition.

I don't know why I didn't think of round here. I am glad some one can agree. I mean this band was/is pretty big.

Plus, HMX would probably classify them as Grunge, which as a genre in the game needs some more lovin'. Would be nice to have something besides Drain You, Alive, Man In the Box and Spoonman in those Grunge "marathons." Nothing against those songs at all, obviously -- it's just that we need mo' grunge, and Counting Crows could definitely fill the bill.

I think I'd put them in pop rock; I don't really see anything grungy about them other than the flannel shirts and the years they were popular. Regardless, Mr. Jones would be a definite party hit, so I would buy it up gladly.

I would consider them pop-rock too. But it seems as if they were overlooked as well as a bunch of other bands that were big in the 90's.

I would like to see Einstein on the Beach and Mr. Jones~ in addition to the songs you mentioned. That would make an awesome pack.
Angels of the Silences is definitely be the best Counting Crows song for Rock Band that I've heard

Let's bring this thread back to life. Anything from August and Everything After would be a great addtion. Mr. Jones, Round Here, Omaha, Rain King. I play them all on acoustic and it would be a ton of fun in Rockband.

I'd say yes. My top choices would be "Hanginaround", "Mr. Jones", "Einstein On The Beach (For An Eggman)", "She Don't Want Nobody Near", "American Girls" and their cover of "Big Yellow Taxi".

I'd love to see more Counting Crows. I can't believe we only have one song and it's off the damn Shrek 2 soundtrack!
