Release for Rock Band, every single song that those tards put in their game. The faster the better. I think AC/DC's Shook Me All Night Long would be a good choice for the game, as I think it's well-liked and it's got a good mix of all four instruments in it. But obviously I'd take anything AC/DC.

To mix it up a bit, in the name of a good, fun party game that appeals to a wide variety, why not some Matchbox 20? I'd also suggest Johnny B. Goode, but without listening to it again I have no idea if anything more than the guitar/vocals would be worth playing.

How about Judas Priest's version of "Johnny B. Goode"? It's got a good mix of all instruments (Obviously lead guitar and vocals would get more attention, but the rest of the instruments are good parts)

For those who are curious Judas Priest released their metalized version of that song in 1986 on their album "Ram It Down"

I am honestly tired of those other guys being the huge tools they are with their lack of community response and involvement.

Harmonix, MTV, EA, you claim that you will have weekly downloadable content. Well this is a way to cement the award for "Best Music Game". Release for Rock Band, every single song that those tards put in their game. The faster the better. This may seem daunting, but then you will be holding them by the balls, making them sweat before you crush them.

i think the main thing the makers have to remember to do really is try to use songs people want to play again and again. problem with GH2 was that there were a few too many obscure 'hard for the sake of being hard' songs in there. i did love the challenge, but at the same time not many people will be playing psychobilly freakout if they dont have to.
GH1 was better cos you can play pretty much any of the songs repeatedly just for fun.
IMHO rock band will be better off having a more mainstream songlist (with a little craziness for fun of course).

Paradise City- Guns n Roses (Has Guitar Hero done this in previous versions I have only played GH II on 360) Wicked solo.

Holy Wars- Megadeth, Fast and furious absolutely brutal. Mustaine still claims that the guitar work in this song was some of his best.

Any AC/DC but I recommend a song off Back in Black called Let Me Put My Love Into You.
If you havnt heard it check it out.

Tool- 1000 Days, a long song but boy do Tool know how to build you up then plateau off several times in one song before finally rocking the shizen out of you.

Pantera- Walk, Whats not to like? Slow extremely heavy riffs combined with thunderous drums and vocals that would strip paint of the walls. How fun would this song be to to play/sing
