Ok...a few game related questions...

Ok I have been going at the game a few days. Playing guitar and my son on drums & bass, wife singing some here and there. I never played any of the GH games so Im learning from scratch here. Right now I can nail any song on easy pretty much and medium Im 90%+ on like the bottom 3 ranks of songs some of the others I can limp through.

Hard is still out of my range on the few I have tried.

Anyway...a few questions.....

- On the Band World Tour...we started one band and sorta started to hit a wall. We smoked through the early dates. Got the van then the bus. Then we got to the point where we had to do medium songs to continue to get fans. We ran out of songs we could see and sets we could choose the songs for. Then what happen is we try to do the Mystery and all the other sets where you have no idea what the songs are and we always get some song that screws us up.

So first of all.....I downloaded most of the new songs available. Some of the songs like the Queens of the Stone Age are just brutal. I think one of those 3 is sorta ok but the other 2 kill us. So can I just like delete those I guess so they wont show up on the BWT or is there some easy way to disable them?

- Next...Ive noticed when I check our band rankings for songs onthe leaderboards I only see my name. Is that because Im the only one with a XBL account? So we can never get our total band score listed unless everyone has a XBL account?

- Ive seen some people say its better to play the solo BWT first to unlock more songs for the group version? Does this make it better by unlocking some more songs of all difficulty levels. Or do most the songs you unlock once you have to move to medium all higher difficulty songs?

- How far can we get playing on Medium? I hope it doesnt make us switch to hard as soon as it did making us switch from easy to medium.

I can tell you now you want to play solo first to unlock tracks.

One question I can answer: you can finish BWT (Hall of Fame induction, Endless Setlist, etc.) on medium. You hit a fan cap again, but that won't stop you from finishing the game. There are some set lists/challenges/venue that require Hard, but those are fully optional.

I liked having the unlocked songs for two reasons.
One: You wont always have the same songs when you play mystery sets. Before we unlocked anything, we played paranoid almost every single time.
Two: I find some of the later songs easier anyway. So if you are stuck on what you have, having more options might give you a better chance of playing songs you can beat.

We are pretty far in to BWT and have just not started having to play on hard across the board. And that isn't at all venues/events, so you should be fine on medium for a while.
