I was singing a song earlier today. I'm pretty sure it was "In Bloom" and I couldn't get my voice to go low enough on certain parts and failed about 1/2 of the way through the song. Now, before I could be saved by another band member I accident spoke while I was holding the mic in the area where my voice could be heard and it absolutely dropped the band's meter from the top of green to fail in less than 2 seconds.
I have never seen anything drop so fast. In the process we lost 5,000+ fans.
So if you are the singer and you fail, don't talk. Apparently the fans don't look too kindly upon it.
