Who else is psyched for RB at E3? Too bad I'll be gone, lol. I hope they announce a Wii version and Nintendo announces a hard drive or I'll have to somehow get a 360 just for RB.

Anyway, post E3 stuff here! I'd also appreciate it if someone PMs me all the RB E3 info and maybe a few videos, if you catch my drift ;)

I hope theres some new songs announced! By now last year we knew like half of the GH2 songs!

Gamespot and many many other websites have live E3 game demonstraitions, and considering GH has been one of the main displays on many gamespot shows since GH1, expect RB to be on. It will be on e3.gamespot.com most likely.

I feel the same way, I really want a Wii HD, as well as some solid videos from RB, and hopefully an announcement that it will be out on the Wii if not by end of '07 then early '08 or else I'm buying a 360, because I need this game.

With EA and MTV backing this project, I'm predicting Rock Band will make quite a splash and steal this year's show. The kotaku video which appeared today was a month old, and already a month ago it looked pretty darn polished.


The Nintendo Wii and interactive style gaming was the talk of E3 last year... this seems a natural progression to it. Plus, it's a party game at a party event with a party atmosphere... it's practically the perfect storm of parties!

E3 has become a genre-wide pissing contest. i dont watch it, i dont listen to any announced games, dont watch any cinematic trailers or nothing.

some of you may be wondering why....and its simple. because alot of developers, when they get to E3, either flatout LIE or make huge extravagent exagerations of the facts (if you look at any cinematic trailers that say "this is using in-game engine", they are lieing).

FFXIII tried to make their lie look like something more truthful by putting something that somewhat resembles a UI in it, but its action is moving faster than any RPG has EVER moved.

i think the GDC is a much more entertaining and important time (Game Developers Conference). no lights, no booth babes, no outlandish claims.
