Ok so, I was wanting to use my created character that I'd beaten solo mode on my X360 with over at a friend's house, because she was all set up the way I liked her. First I just recalled my gamertag to his system, that didn't work, so I figured it was part of the save file.
I have a 360 memory card, so I saved my RB info onto it from the Options -> Manage Data -> Save screen. I took that to my friend's house and loaded it from there, signed in under my gamertag, and no character. This was a pure save, just to the memory card instead of the HD so I don't understand why it wouldn't just load the game from the memory card instead of the HD at my friends' place.
I get back home, start up my system, recall my gamertag, and start up RB there, and all of my characters are gone. Specifically my perfect little guitarist, who I'd just beaten the solo game with on Medium and was starting to work through on Hard.
I really, really. reallyreallyreally don't want to have to recreate my character from scratch, get all of the unlocked items (including the gold guitar!), and unlocked songs (I just got Brainpower, sigh) again, and etc etc.
Someone please tell me I'm not as screwed as I think I am here.
Also; is it even possible to use your own character(s) on another system somehow?
