I just wanted to share my little success story to maybe give you guys some hope.

I've posted in a few of the broken drum related threads expressing my concern over the fact that my blue pad stopped responding and occasionally my drum set would disconnect itself. Seems to be pretty standard issue with the early releases of the RB2 drums for xbox360. After getting furious with the game I decided to give the tech support a call to see what they would do. My set was out of the 60 day warranty, but after explaining my situation to the very nice CSR, she said there was nothing she could do for me. I then asked if I could speak to her manager. She put me on hold for no longer than a minute and returned with great news. Her manager said they would do a replacement for me even though I was out of warranty, Thanks!

Apparently, EA knows that these drum sets are inherently bad(even though they won't admit it) and will replace them if you a reasonable about your argument. So, boys and girls, before bad mouthing EA/HMX about how they are terrible companies, try your luck with the customer service. They were much more helpful than I'd ever expected and my new drumset works great. Anyone else care to share their successful/unsuccessful customer service stories when dealing with their broken RB or RB2 equipment?
