Come on, we need a cake song in Rock Band. It'll give all those base players something to do for once ;)

But really, you should consider adding in a Cake pack, or some Cake Albums. I would download those in a heart beat.

I agree. "The Distance" is a must. So are their other radio hits: "Short Skirt/Long Jacket", "Never There", "Sheep Go To Heaven", "Let Me Go", "I Will Survive" (yes, they cover Gloria Gaynor's song) and "Rock 'n' Roll Lifestyle".

However, I also kind of disagree. I think some of the most fun songs are the least-known ones, a couple of which didn't even make it onto the B-Sides and Rarities album: "Half as Much" (CAKE's cover of the Hank Williams song), "Arco Arena (Vocal Version)" (like the one on Comfort Eagle, but with words!) and "Excuse Me, I Think I've Got a Heartache" (CAKE's cover of the Buck Owens song).

I never heard of Cake before now, but these songs don't seem that bad. I wouldn't mind buying a song or two from them.

Yeah, they are one of the more obscure bands from the 90s. They are really great (one of the most underrated bands from the 90s, imho), the lyrics are intelligent, the guitar riffs are fun, and the percussion is a blast.

I would love to see "rock and roll lifestyle", "the distance", "short skirt & long jacket", or any of the songs previously mentioned.

Cake would make a great addition. That is a band that makes me smile everytime I hear them. My personal choice (while it isn't their best song) is their cover of I Will Survive. They give the bass players something fun to do, and even if they just released one of their songs in a "Bass Pack" (just add 1ea chili peppers and primus to the pack) and I'd be smiling.
