Ok, hopefully HMX reads these boards. I know alot of ppl are upset about no fans in BWT after a certain Cap. This is shout out to HMX if you could possibly "patch" the game. I know others have had the same idea.
Yes i know we are not "Stuck" in BWT mode but it is dis-heartning to see we cant play in a few cities unless we have a certain amount of fans.
Hopefully there is a patch in the works......give every difficulty fans but make it more worth your time to play on harder difficulties if your able too.
Say like this,
Expert gives you 100 fans per gig
Hard-----75
Medium---50
Easy--25
That way everyone can still get fans but playing on a lower difficulty would make you play more songs to get the same amount of fans an Expert player would get.

That's what I've been saying all week. It should be a graduated system based on performance and difficulty level. That way everyone could play at their own level, regardless of how good/bad they are. That way a band could play at easy/medium and get more fans than bands that play easy/easy but less fans than medium/medium bands.
I still can't believe that, when playtesting, no one ever brought up this issue. Or switching instruments. Or the fact that no solo/online BWT sucks. Or that the instruments break a lot.

Most games reward players who are better than others. You're not missing any of the core gameplay or any of the features if you can't play on expert; however, it would be horrible if companies stopped giving rewards to expert players.
The greatest games of all time (Super Mario Bros., Super Mario World, Final Fantasy VII, Grand Theft Auto 3, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time) ALL rewarded players who were great at the game. If you sucked at it, you could still beat the game. You just didn't get all of the extras. Even successful party games (DDR, Karaoke Revolution, Mario Party) rewarded really great players. You could play all of them fine if you weren't an expert but you jsut didn't get the little extras.
What's the difference with this game? You can still complete BWT on medium. You lose out on only a few venues. You can do everything else. If those things mean that much to you, how about you stop complaining and spend your time EARNING them.
What's with this sense of entitlement? Just play the game and have a good time. Leave the perks to people that are better than you.

Hooray! a fix that sounds great to me, I just don't care honestly, I could care less about the leaderboards or anything else, I just want to be able to get a few more fans per gig w/o having to go to expert to do it!
And don't tell me that play it longer harder BS, we bought the game you should be able to play how much of it or how little you want to.
Go whine about your leaderboard somewhere else.

I have to go with Natty on this one unfortunately. My friends and I were pretty pissed when we saw that we were capped at 260,000 fans....not too fun since none of us are that great on Drums, but can play expert on everything else.
BUT if it's true that you can finish the mode REGARDLESS and you just don't see some of the "places" and backgrounds ... then um....thats NORMAL...it's something you have to get better at to UNLOCK.....that's COMPLETELY NORMAL in a game.....Like getting some of the guitars in GH3....you gotta beat things on expert....so like I said...NORMAL.
Now we've basically kept going regardless of fans..so I'll let you know if it's TRUE that it can be beaten without it....

75 fans a gig for expert? that's it? unless you mean in thousands, that's just stupid.
The most fans I had was 600k, but it's not 580k because I'm just losing them.
