The "Thank You HMX"-Thread

Hi

As a big fan of rock band I ask for songs from my favorite bands like everybody else does. In fact, everybody seems to ask for songs from every band imaginable, and it must be a tough job deciding what to go for first.

But in this bunch of request, I feel that there is one thread missing, and that is a "Thank you HMX" -Post. So everyone who got at least a hand full of his favorite songs on disc or as download might want to leave a message here.


I say -thank you Harmonix- for having Aqualung on disc, Bad Religion, Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age, Pixies, Blondie, the who ans so much more as DLC! I think you guys do a brilliant job, even if some big hits are missing (Smells like teen spirit, lithium... ;) )


Hope that the DLC-Support stays as regular as it is now and i hope for big hits in the new year!

I really thank you for posting this up, and you know what. THANK YOU SO ****ING MUCH HARMONIX! MY GOD! YOU RULE! YOU PUT CHILDREN OF BODOM, LAMB OF GOD, AND STATIC-X!!!!!!!! YEAH!!! That made me so happy, I was screaming almost like a school girl. Lol, but. I've been kicked from 8 games now when little kids play because of the "Naked Brothers Band" Pack. I mean, many children requested it, but. Most of them are picky and boot others who don't have the DLC they have. I say we destroy the kids who play it and put Slayer in! YEAH! Anyways, thank you for all of your hard work Harmonix, your appreciation for all your fans, and your Downloadable Content uploading every Tuesday, You.... You are the greatest creators of Rythm(Spelled wrong, I know. :o)Games. Hope to see some more Great DLC!

I had never played a game like this until Rock Band 1 was released. I was excited about the co-op play all in one room. Since I host several parties a year I thought it would be fun. It has turned out to be a huge draw.

For specific bands that I would like to thank you for. AC/DC, upcoming Beatles, Bang Camaro (never heard of the band, but really like them), Boston, Grateful Dead, Jimmy Buffett, Judas Priest, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Metallica, Molly Hatchet, The Offspring, The Police, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins, STP!, but most of all, and one of the main reasons I picked up the game in the first place... Thanks for The Who.

thank you hmx for spending 10 minutes charting the laid to rest drums. bravo. unfortunately i was severely constipated when i first watched the chart, but after the first view i was miraculously cured by having severe diarrhea for 3 days.

and thank you for making sure that all the scene bands get plenty of dlc, many with multiple, sperate releases. thank you for educating the masses on all genres of music. because everyone loves pop/ radio rock.

Oh come on, lighten up- There is plenty of metal, alternative, progressive, classic and cross over rock. A lot of songs that you'd never hear in the radio (nor only nowdays)

I think HMX does a great job with a very satisfying genre-mix. I mean children of bodom ins't exactly what you hear on the radio everyday, is it?
