UK players

Is anyone having issues downloading the 1.01 patch? Its always gets somewhere between 3 and 10% and then just stops. I don't think its to do with my connection/ports etc. as I can download other stuff fine.

If I log in with my UK account it doesn't see the patch at all. If I log in with my US account I get the issue above.

A couple of others...

Have any UK PS3 owners managed to get any DLC?

Do X360 and PS3 share leaderboards?

Does anyone have rubber tipped drumsticks and does it help the noise?

My game hasn't arrived yet, but I'll let you know when it does. I bought some of the DLC off the US Playstation Store already though in preparation!

NotorietyH, how did you get DLC from the US store? I made a US account just so that I could get the RB DLC but I can't actually put in my payment details because my billing address HAS to be in the US.

yeah it's weird, it didn't work for months, and I just re-typed everything one day and it did work, so thankfully once it was saved as my card, it's worked ever since. I was afraid it just worked that one day when I tested it for the Foo Fighters download pack for GHIII, but it worked for the RB DLC too. I put in a New York zip code and New York as the city and it looks like they just checked the first few lines off the address and it was correct so it just worked. There seems to be no definite way of telling what works and what doesn't.

Mine has been here since friday. (EB Games, even though the order tracking was shocking, cam through pretty good) Can't register for dlc :( NoterietyH what type of card was it. I tried my Amex, visa and my wifes mastercard. All rejected and my wife got a call from fraud protection wanting to know what was going on (oops) Anyway, game is awesome, fixed guitar once already :( but having so much fun on drums and vocals that the guitar is tertiary at the moment anyway.

I REALLY want some of that DLC tho.. Wolfmother especially

It was a Visa card, I heard that mastercards have more luck with it. People have said that the longer your address is the more chance you have of it working, but your address has to match the one on your statement exactly, so if it doesn't work, chances are it just won't, which is a shame, I wasn't expecting it to work at all, as I had tried a couple of times, but had hassles getting EBGames to recognise my card when I was pre-ordering Rock Band and had to type in the name, address and everything exactly as it appeared on my statement and it went through eventually, so I thought I'd give it a shot one night when I was looking through the GHIII DLC, and sure enough, it worked. So I was delighted, not so much that I'd have more crappily laid out GHIII songs to play, but that I'd be able to get Rock Band DLC which I never thought I'd be able to get.

Just out of curiosity, when did you order from EBGames? I ordered on Sept 1st and the royally screwed up my order, leaving my order on back order, so I went the eBay route.

Hey guys still haven't received mine yet either. Pre-ordered it and there were issues over american shops over-subscribing. Hopefully i'll get it within the next couple of weeks. If not will have to wait till they release it over here. Still hopefully all the problems should have been ironed out when it is finally released.:):cool:

Ordered 29/09 Mine went from pre order shipps 11/20 to pre order shipp 11/30 on release day so I assumed that was it. Emailed them and the got back saying it had shipped on 23rd! I suspect yours would have done the same. Their information systems seem to be truely shocking.

oh and when you entered your credit card info did you include county in the address field or did you just put a US county in?

Argh! I should've been more patient, but I was afraid a complete frenzy would start on eBay and I'd have to wait until next year. It'd be funny if it had actually shipped, and they cancelled my order afterwards and I got two bundles :P Not bloody likely though!

Can't remember what I put in for my county details. I may have left it blank, I'm afraid to go in to the details and check in case I lose the ability to buy DLC! I either put nothing or Cork, if it's State not county, I would've put in New York to match the New York zip code.

Hopefully mine (PS3 ver) should turn on up Monday (26th) I ordered from ebay as I dont have the patience to wait for the UK release.

I hope someone can confirm that you can download the patches. If not I will let you know when mine arrives.

I was not expecting to be able to get the DLC as I dont have a credit card on my US account.

Sorry forgot to mention mine picked up the update straight away logged into my UK account. My PS3 is a US one tho

I can now confirm that mine picked up and installed the update with no problems on my UK account on a UK PS3.
